Hello, I’m Joey, also known as The Yarn Artist, an independent yarn dyer based in Chester, UK, specialising in hand dyed yarn inspired by artists and their masterpieces.

From my home studio in Cheshire, I create small-batch, artisan hand dyed yarn designed to be bold, unique and full of character. My collection includes a range of high-quality yarn bases and weights, including Superwash Merino 4ply and DK yarn, perfect for knitting, crochet, weaving and other fibre crafts.

As an indie yarn dyer in the UK, my focus is on creating colourways that feel inspiring to work with while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency. Each skein is carefully dyed by hand, making every batch slightly unique.
